While 2020 has been a roller coaster of a year – peppered with much angst & uncertainty – there is still much we can tick-off on the “Gratitude” side of the sheet. Thanksgiving has always been a time of reflection & thankfulness, albeit this year it may seem a more difficult exercise. Scientific studies have been conducted about the effectiveness of practicing mindful gratitude on a daily basis, & how it can literally re-wire our brains to become more positive. In the midst of chaos, remembering the blessings in our lives can most certainly be helpful to both our physical & emotional well-being…& what better time to begin this ritual than at the holiday created specifically for giving thanks!
The Thanksgiving table may be a less crowded this year in order to keep ourselves & our loved-ones healthy & safe, but we know that those who are dear to us will always remain close within our hearts – no matter how far apart we are geographically.
