Field Engineer

Field Engineer Captus Systems is looking for a Field Engineer to be responsible for all oversight and aspects of the integration of AV systems as well as providing support and expertise to the Captus Project Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring industry standards and procedures are followed, final installation inspections as well as assistance with system turn-over and client acceptance will be required. Job responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide complete programming support for Crestron, Extron and/or AMX products including providing source code and control panel layouts for integrated audiovisual systems Work with Project Team to prepare control system submittals Assure each system's physical completeness is in accordance with contract documents During the job commissioning phase maintain an on-ongoing dialog with the Project Team ensuring the system's quality and performance meet the job requirements Provide complete system testing, commissioning, end-user training and prepare punch lists Ensure accurate document mark-ups are produced and turned into the Project Lead/Supervisor in a timely manner and inform Project Lead about change order opportunities Provide high level service call technical support, either remote or onsite, as needed. Write and fully tweak audio programs for the following audio DSP’s: ClearOne and Biamp Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in the AV/IT industry 4+ years' experience providing field engineering support CTS and / or CTS-I certification required Any formal training from Biamp, ClearOne, Polycom, Starleaf or Cisco installation experience / certification a plus. Have basic Creston, AMX and/or Extron certifications, as well as, proficiency loading and retrieving code Have ability to apply firmware update to various products used in a project Have ability to inspect and maintain cable management. Have proficiency in testing/loading Creston/AMX/Extron programs and touch panel layouts, DSP products like Biamp, ClearOne, Polycom, BSS, and more Proficient in setting up audio and video conferencing systems as well as adjusting common audio equipment and video display systems, and configuring a wired or wireless TCP/IP network Must have excellent communication skills and possess excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability and do advanced troubleshooting on any device Have ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and be able to work in various working conditions from executive boardrooms to construction sites and hot humid to cold places Must have the ability to work with cloud-based applications for project & time management Travel to client sites and other Captus Systems offices is required Education: High School Diploma or greater Computer Experience: Good computer skills including proficiency using Windows, MS Office, Apple & Android devices Benefits: Medical, 401(k), Paid time off, paid holidays Salary: Competitive Salary Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status Captus Systems is a Drug-Free Workplace. Senior Account Manager

Senior Account Executive Captus Systems is looking for a Senior Account Executive to assist in meeting sales objectives from new and existing clients. The successful sales professional should be highly motivated and have a proven track record of established sales success, 2-5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on Unified Communications and Collaboration or AV integration markets. The sales professional will be responsible for individual territory development, identifying market opportunities, as well as engaging new clients. You will identify client needs and budget requirements and develop a scope of work which accurately defines the functionality and features of the system. This position is the first point of contact for the client on all aspects of the account and will partner with the client before, during and after the sale to ensure quality service. Job responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop a detailed understanding of Captus Systems as well as competitive products and services. Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer’s visual collaboration needs. Travel, as necessary, to cover sales responsibilities effectively across the defined territory. Establish professional effective working relationships with manufacturer sales and sales engineering personnel as well as other business partners that will benefit you within your defined territory in penetrating account base. Active and ongoing prospecting in the territory. Design and implement focused prospecting tools to include; webinars, seminars, email campaigns etc. to increase sales and expand Captus Systems’s customer base in the designated territory. Develop and execute against a detailed business plan. Take the lead on driving high levels of customer satisfaction. Manage and maintain all interactions within the Captus Systems CRM / ERP Systems. Required Skills and Experience: Avixa CTS, preferred. Cicso Certifications are a plus Demonstrate a professional level of verbal, written and listening communication skills including the ability to deliver presentations, negotiate effectively, develop high quality and grammatically correct documents for customers and proven techniques for finding the hidden needs of customers Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail/focus and the ability to multi-task in a high volume, deadline driven environment Must demonstrate high level commercial contacts that include the IT and facility departments. Must demonstrate extensive industry contacts Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must have knowledge of the design and project management processes Be able to comply with company driving policy The sales person will possess excellent communications skills, (both verbal and written). Strong organizational skills and comfortable with on-line forecasting tools (SF.com). The ability to understand, present and demonstrate visual collaboration products and services to end user customers. Ability to multi-task and deliver positive results. Must be highly motivated and have a track record and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial type environment. AV Technician

AV Technician Captus Systems is looking for an Audiovisual Technician who has a background in the construction and AV/IT trades and the work involved. The AV Tech assists in interpreting each system's scope of work and drawings to ensure successful installation and closeout of each assigned job. The AV Tech will prebuild rack systems, pull and terminate cables as well as install AV/IT components and other related hardware. Job responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist with performing basic audio, video and control system testing including preliminary diagnostic troubleshooting on integrated AV/IT systems Assist in maintaining and marking up as-built changes during job implementation Review and familiarize yourself with the job package and assess the logistics of the job Assure each system is complete in accordance with the installation drawings and scope of the job Protect finished work from dust and damage in the area of work Secure equipment at the job site until it is turned over to the owner Supports video conferencing needs – fixes, maintains and troubleshoots video conferencing equipment daily for multiple conference rooms Extensive experience in best-in-breed technology such as BiAmp, Crestron, Cisco, AMX and more Desired Skills and Experience Must have valid state installation license and/or certificate as required by state law Must have some experience adjusting audio and video systems Must be able to pull, terminate, label and dress cables in racks, consoles and throughout the facility's structure Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding Work sites vary from finished executive boardrooms to new construction.
